Peter Pan Summer Curriculum 2019
May 28 through August 9
Our summer curriculum provides wonderful opportunities for children to:
learn through hands-on experiences
develop an active curiosity about the world
nurture their enthusiasm for learning
A child’s development continues throughout the year and summer is no exception! We know your child will thoroughly enjoy the environment and activities we provide during the summer months.
Summer Fun for Todds and Twos
Our youngest campers will be “BUSIER THAN BEES” this summer as they BUZZ into a variety of activities geared just for them. Each day is filled with hands-on fun ~ interest centers, movement, language, projects, nature, songs, and an extra special snack. Whether they’re busy “Packing a Picnic”, “Bumming at the Beach”, or “Splish-Splashing in the Backyard”, each day will keep these “Busy Bees” flying high with summer fun!
A Down to Earth Curriculum Perfect for Preschoolers
Come Join Us ~ as we become “Little Explorers” ~ investigating and discovering the Wonders of the World. We’ll become so absorbed in the FUN that, without even realizing it, we’ll become “Junior Scientists”. We’ll uncover mysteries, perform magic, and even create scientific works of art. It’s a SUMMER OF FUN your child will not want to miss!
“In & Out of This World”
Adventures for Older Children ~ 5 to 10 Years
Come travel with us ~ as our Magic Camp Mobile takes us on grand adventures in fabulous places. We’ll escape into a World of Adventure, Excitement, and Fun! Imagine your children spending their summer venturing off to Mars, the Sonora Desert, the Tropical Rainforest, the Polar Regions, and a Voyage to the Ocean Floor. Traveling “IN and OUT of this WORLD” will provide a Summer of Fun that is just perfect for our Senior Campers! Be sure to register your child and we’ll take care of their “Passport”.
Outdoor Experiences for Every Child 3 to 10 years
Peter Pan’s exclusive “Nature Connections” provides the perfect opportunity for your child to explore, experience, investigate, discover, and enjoy science and nature this summer. The excitement of our outdoor world will delight us, as we examine caterpillars, plant seeds, explore rocks, investigate bugs, dig for worms, make mud pies, and release newly hatched butterflies. Each day, we will grab our Nature Backpacks, loaded with binoculars, magnifying glasses, specimen containers, journaling clipboards, and more - then head into our big backyard to Connect with Nature.
